Overview
This watcher instance in your tenant owns file lifecycle for its sources. Public name cloud-file-watcher-demo · PWID 000000010000002a — the address other systems see in provenance and storage paths.
What this console shows
Four areas match how operators and buyers reason about the product — from identity down to individual files and ops signals.
- Overview (here) — Identity and registry: which watcher this is, how it is keyed, and where its index lives.
- Configuration — Policy and sources: which folders are watched, how deletes and updates propagate, and which on-prem field agents are trusted.
- Files & health — Per-object ingest and verification: what is confirmed, pending, or failing, and actions an operator can take.
- Operations — Control-plane safety and observability: singleton lease per cryptographic identity and the CloudWatch metrics names ops use.
These labels match the watcher specification — useful when reading docs/spec_watcher.md or talking to engineering.
Key identifiers
- PWID — Public watcher address (16 hex digits). Used in COB filenames, jump tables, and the provenance triplet. Safe to show in operational UIs.
- CWID — Cryptographic identity from the watcher key (32 hex). Used for the DynamoDB lock and signature lookup; not a public routing ID for COB paths.
- EFI — Elias–Fano index for each logical file: tiny jump map from chunks to COB locations and checkpoint bits (granular delete and verification).
- Public key history — Prior Ed25519 keys for this CWID are retained (e.g. 7 years) so old COBs stay verifiable after rotation; see Operations.
Registry
Authoritative watcher row fields (mock fixture). Public address (PWID) and EFI path follow this watcher’s counter; other cells reuse the demo row for watcher 42.

Cryptographic identity (internal)
CWID is not a public routing ID; it anchors locks and signature lookup. Do not embed it in COB paths or external addresses per spec.
